St.George's Anglican Church Building Upgrade Fund

The building upgrade will concentrate on three areas:

  • Internal stair balustrade

  • Rear balcony

  • Opportunity Shop Floor

The project cost is $60,000. Half of this is being borrowed through church sources however the appeal aims to raise as much of the project cost as possible so as to retire borrowings is the shortest possible time.


Donations to the appeal may be made by cheque payable to St George's Anglican Church East Ivanhoe and identified as being towards the redevelopment.

Internal stair balustrade upgrade

Occupational Health and Safety require that we make the internal balustrade safer-especially for the young children we welcome into our building

 

Rear Balcony Upgrade

St George's balcony upgrade Our building will be safer for our parishioners and the community. We need to allow safe entry to and exit from our building via the rear car park.

Opportunity Shop Floor

The Opportunity Shop will be made a much safer and better work environment by the changes being made.

Music has always been a great joy at St George's.

 The organ has been vital for this ministry and was paid for within a few years. We have never regretted this initiative.


   

And remember the Sustainability projects that have improved the footprint of St George.

  • Water saving in "bladders" under the Church collecting water from our roof hot water system
  • A vastly improved kitchen which meets all safety and health regulations
