Objective: St George’s Parish will take a bold, faith-fuelled step toward sustainability with the installation of a 39.72 kW solar system, perfectly sized to meet around 80 % of its energy needs – and return the rest to the grid. Funded through two generous grants and seamless collaboration with Leeson Solar, the project will reflect both financial prudence and environmental stewardship.

Outcome:   A drastic reduction in electricity bills, stable energy sourcing, and a clean energy surplus flowing back into Victoria’s power network. Beyond cost savings, the system demonstrating how a local faith community can lead by example – encouraging others to make conscious choices for the planet and future generations.
