Farewell to Stacey and Kristen

This morning’s Choral Eucharist marked the departure from our parish of Rev’d Stacey Slater and Rev’d Kristen Dillon, both of whom are taking up positions as ADF chaplains.

It has been our privilege to have Stacey and Kristen with us – they will be very much missed.

An Invitation – Farewell the Rev’d Kristen Dillon and the Rev’d Stacey Slater – 6.30pm Saturday 9th December 2023

Parishioners and Friends of St Georges East Ivanhoe,

The time has come for us to farewell the Reverends Kristen Dillon and Stacey Slater who have been so much part of our lives over the last two years.

They will be concluding their time with us at St George’s East Ivanhoe and St Pauls East Kew as they move into full-time chaplaincy in the Australian Army.

Kristen will serve with a Townsville based unit and Stacey with an Army establishment at Puckapunyal, both from early January 2024.

We propose to farewell Kristen and Stacey from East Ivanhoe at our Parish bring ‘n’ Share Supper on Saturday 9th December 2023.

Please come and join us 6.15 for a 6.30pm start on Saturday 9th December.

We will gather in the Evans Hall.

If you propose to attend, then please let us know by responding to this email, indicating whether you will be bring an entire, main or dessert to share.

If you change your mind and decide to attend at the last moment that is fine as well, as you will be assured of a warm welcome.

Peace,

Fr John

The Rev’d John Sanderson
