Last Sunday (May 23rd) we as a Parish marked the retirement of Cyril Thomas<\/strong> as Assistant Organist at St. George’s after many years of long and distinguished service.<\/p>\n

Cyril’s service to our parish has been inspirational and we thank him so much for his fine work over so many years. I personally will very much miss working with such a distinguished and able colleague.<\/p>\n

At the same service, we were delighted to commission Kathy Ma<\/strong> as Assistant Organist.<\/p>\n

Kathy has already shown herself to be a highly competent musician and organist in her two “guest” appearances at the console earlier this year. We are delighted to obtain her services as a means of further securing the place of fine music in the worship at St George’s church.<\/p>\n
